Finally!
We arrived yesterday afternoon to stay at a friend's mom's house in Nelson County, Virginia. It was 3.30pm and she said, 'the last snow tubing session starts at 4pm at the ski resort 10 mins from here'. We were off!
Snow tubing is riding a huge tube down a 900ft, ploughed course. It was wild. So much fun! The mist meant we went down and disappeared and had no idea where we were headed - which all added to the excitement! Mike, Luke, Max, Ethan and I all went. You could tube by yourself or join two tubes together. Mike and I joined ours and our combined weight meant we were airborne off the jumps a few times!
Aidan played in the snow at the top. 
After two runs and about half an hour (it was starting to rain/hail), Aidan and I walked up the path and found a warm indoor play centre, complete with hot chocolate! But the other 4 continued til they and the operators were the only ones left. By 6pm they were cold, tired but thoughly exhilarated! We all slept well!
